As someone who researches ad nauseum I took a chance on my puppy, Radio, as he is a rough collie shepherd mix. Unfortunately for my fragile human flesh he's gone hard on shepherd herding and biting instincts. It's taken a few weeks but he's finally getting the hang of soft mouth. Luckily I'm in a close enough urban centre that I can take him in for puppy play dates with the other raptors which thank goooood really helps him lay off!
But suffice to say I feel your pain, it's hard to get things done with a puppy demanding attention twenty four seven. I basically accepted that my life was forfeit for his first month and only now am I getting back some peace.
I work in book publishing in the daytime so I promised my partner I'd do a substantive edit if he could finish nanowrimo- he held up his end but I'm still working on mine. Since he's dealing with the same hardships he's found it in his heart to forgive.
Stay strong!!! Writing is better then not writing by a long shot, even if some projects are a little later then scheduled~
